Bernadette Ainsworth holds an MSc. in Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy and in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. She is a member of the Association for Rational Emotive Behaviour Psychotherapists (AREBT) and she is an accredited member of the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapists (BABCP).

She honed her experience working at the Princess Grace Hospital where she took ward rounds and treated outpatients. Bernadette has extensive background experience in treating complex mental health conditions. She has a reputation for being extremely effective in helping people to obtain rapid and often dramatic results for their stress and anxiety, which occurs so often in the workplace, either from self-imposed pressure or company expectations. She also helps people to resolve conflicts and in some cases bullying, so that people are able to master their difficulties with increased confidence in themselves and their ability to handle future challenges.

She has outstanding success with executive and career coaching strategies, being noted for her forensic approach, exceptional insight and intellectual acumen.

Bernadette has an encyclopaedic knowledge of Bipolar Affective Disorder. She offers a unique package for the psycho-educational work required for individuals whom are diagnosed with the condition, as well as, if appropriate, their families and partners, whom can often have a huge positive impact in the management of what is, in many cases, an extremely difficult condition. She has presented her work on Bipolar Affective Disorder at St. Luke's and St. Pancras Hospitals (London), Conferences at Warneford Hospital (Oxford), and AstraZeneca (Stockholm).
